To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation [day]; for the sepulchre was nigh at hand. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am [he]. Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened? As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you [of] heavenly things? Jesus answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. And one of them, [named] Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Judas then, having received a band [of men] and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. The first [day] of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak. Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also [one] of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
