Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also [my] hands and [my] head. Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. And [some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Jesus wept. Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
