And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Jesus saith unto them, Come [and] dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this [man] hath done? For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon. The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am [he], and [that] I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And many more believed because of his own word; Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do [it].
Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days. These things I command you, that ye love one another. They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but [that] his disciples were gone away alone; So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. When Jesus heard [that], he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

When he had said these words unto them, he abode [still] in Galilee.

Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard [him] ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
