She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. Jesus saith unto them, Come [and] dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord. And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this [man] hath done?
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night. Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard [this], said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also [his] coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
And many more believed because of his own word; Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been [dead] four days. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. For some [of them] thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy [those things] that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.
So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. And when even was [now] come, his disciples went down unto the sea,
The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged? Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing. Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

And many believed on him there. There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw [it], and was glad. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid.
[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,
After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he [himself].

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
What [manner of] saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find [me]: and where I am, [thither] ye cannot come?
He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
Jesus wept.
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
