And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called [the place] of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry [thy] bed.
Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also [his] coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven. Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep your's also. And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. And when he had so said, he shewed unto them [his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also [one] of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.
Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard [him] ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.
He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
They answered and said unto him, If he were not a malefactor, we would not have delivered him up unto thee.
Jesus wept.
If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.
Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived?
After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
