Our Weekend Posted: 20 Jan 2012 03:56 PM PST We had a wonderful weekend! We have family visiting right now and it is so much fun showing them the island! When we went to the market we decided to try something new, breadfruit. Breadfruit grows locally here in Hawaii. You have to cook the breadfruit [it is nasty raw!] And what better way to cook it than frying! We sliced it up real thin, and made some chips sprinkled with sea salt! They turned out surprisingly good! More weekend shots… What did you do over the weekend?
