Benazir’s birthday

 Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers will donate blood for soldiers
fighting against extremism and terrorism in Swat and other areas on the
occasion of the 56th birth anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.



This
was stated during a high level meeting at the Chief Minister House
chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, held to make
arrangements for observing the birthday of slain PPP chairperson in a
befitting manner.



A joint meeting of ministers of the PPP,
divisional and district presidents and all general secretaries of PPP
Sindh including all District Coordination Officers (DCOs) and Executive
District Officers (EDOs) Health was informed that as per decision of
the Federal Government, the army had launched an operation against
terrorists and militants in Swat, Malakand Division and other Federally
Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) areas who were challenging the writ of
the government.



Pakistan’s brave soldiers are engaged in the
effort to save the country and were fighting against the terrorists to
protect the homeland, and the nation is proud of these soldiers, said
Shah. He informed the meeting that camps to collect blood donations
will be organised at all district headquarters of the province on June
21 - the birthday of Benazir, and workers of the PPP will come to
donate blood at those camps. The blood donations collected in these
camps will be supplied to the Jawans of the armed forces who were
injured fighting against the terrorists, hesaid.
