Self image is how a person sees himself; this is very important concept because if you don't see yourself as a confident, successful person then people also perceive you as a less confident person. People look at the way you look at yourself.
Let me give you an example suppose that there is a sale person and he is selling a product which he doesn't consider best or worth purchasing, then it will so difficult for that sale person to sale the product or even convince the buyer to buy that product because he doesn't believe on that product that is why it so hard for that sale person to sale the product.
 According to the research on best sales people, 97% of those sales people believe that they are selling the best product, they believe that there product is best so it will easy for them to make the buyer realizes that this product is worth purchasing. Similarly your are also the product of your own thoughts, so if u see yourself as a confident , hardworking and successful person the world will see u as a confident successful person. They buy your expertise, they believe in your talent because the world looks at you the way u looks at yourself.
