Key Lime Digital Designs: Inspiration Binder :: Part 2
Key Lime Digital Designs: Inspiration Binder :: Part 2 |
Posted: 29 Jun 2012 01:31 PM PDT Remember when I told you about my Inspiration Binder? I recently poured over a new stack of magazines (thanks mom!) and found so many things that I loved! Of course I did my typical magazine routine. Thumb through the magazine, backwards. Yes, I know weird. But it just seems like the pages thumb better that way. Once I have gotten an “overview” of all the goodness then I start at the beginning and actually read the magazine, word for word. After reading the {above} stack of magazines there were several pages I needed to put into my inspiration binder. One of my favorites, and perfect for summertime, is the magazine page below (Somerset Life). They took glass bottles and decorated them with wash tape and filled them with fun summer flowers! If/when I make this project I will definitely shop for Washi Tape at Cute Tape. They have tons of fun patterns! Great idea huh? :: Font on Photos – FG Jasmine |
Posted: 28 Jun 2012 04:05 PM PDT Mr. Dinosaur Puppy made his way from Brian’s childhood bedroom to SJ’s toy box. He is a tap dancing dinosaur you know. Who wears princess shoes. And is a great horsey despite the fact that he collapses to the floor every time sophie saddles up. Oh, and he also likes to eat doritos and popsicles. Think Toy Story. Do you have a favorite childhood toy? Have you passed it on to your kids? |

Having once entrapped your perfect secretary, you set him busily to work beforehand to make all the arrangements for your expected excursion, the archaeologists generally cordially recognising the important principle that he pays all the expenses he incurs out of his own pocket, and drives splendid bargains on their account with hotel-keepers, coachmen, railway companies, and others to feed, lodge, supply, and convey them at fabulously low prices throughout the whole expedition. You also understand that the secretary will call upon everybody in the neighbourhood you propose to visit, induce the rectors to throw open their churches, square the housekeepers of absentee dukes, and beard the owners of Elizabethan mansions in their own dens. These little preliminaries being amicably settled, you get together your archaeologists and set out upon your intended tour. |

It was merely a fatal linking of circumstances, of grave and insignificant events, of vague silence and indefinite words, which gave me the appearance and likeness of the criminal, innocent though I was. But he who would suspect me of being ill-disposed toward my strict judges would be profoundly mistaken. They were perfectly right, perfectly right. As people who can judge things and events only by their appearance, and who are deprived of the ability to penetrate their own mysterious being, they could not act differently, nor should they have acted differently. |

Posted: 22 Jun 2012 02:07 PM PDT After getting back from Utah Brian didn’t waste anytime getting back into the ocean to spear fish. Typically we eat the fish that he catches but not this time. This time was different because he caught a BLOWFISH! Rumor has it that Blowfish can be extremely poisonous if they aren’t prepared correctly so we decided to just steer clear of this one. Good choice don’t you think? I think the best part about this whole ocean adventure was seeing how happy Brian was. We were still talking about the fish (and how big it was) hours later. Those are the best days aren’t they? When joy from an a small simple activity carries all throughout the day! Have a great weekend! :: Credits ::
