These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and [that] your joy might be full. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight. Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also [my] hands and [my] head. Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him? But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. And [some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we [are]. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Jesus wept. Then answered them the Pharisees, Are ye also deceived? Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put [it] on his head, and they put on him a purple robe, |
